Calendar Policies

BASIC, single-dated items on the SCWCC.com WEB calendar are an exclusive benefit of membership. Members-only may use their login/password access to upload events for the official WEB calendar, with the following limitations:

• Individual members may extend personal invitations to events (i.e. social, franchise, fundraisers or seminars/training offered exclusively by the member), but may not list company events on behalf of their employers.*
• Co-op or partner events must be physically hosted by an SCWCC member and/or comprised of a majority of SCWCC members (50% or more) to qualify for the web calendar. For example, a 5-person panel presentation (hosted by a non-member) must be comprised of at least 3 SCWCC members to be listed.*
• Company, business and corporate-branded event promotion is available only to members in good standing at those levels.

*Members may request community calendar listings for employer and partner events.

Official calendar events are previewed on SCWCC.com - in advance, as they approach - plus appear in ENews and events publications and email campaigns.

The SCWCC ENews COMMUNITY Calendar events listing is open for all public announcements of interest to women in business. Listings are presented in a single-line text format (date, title, time, place), and must contain a link to added information online.

Preference is given to free, community service, non-profit and educational programs; however, fundraisers and fee-based* seminar/training opportunities are placed, as space allows, at editor discretion.

*To market and promote commercial ventures, paid banner advertising is available to members-only.

SCWCC serves the community, and its members, by compiling and delivering as much information as possible about activities of interest to women in business throughout the region - both on its member-only web-based calendar, and through targeted subscriber email publications.
