Q: I'm a member. Can I bring guests to SCWCC events?

Absolutely. Guests are always welcome, and members are urged to invite anyone who would like to learn more about SCWCC.

Members in good standing may also "host" their guests - at member pricing* - at any time. To receive member pricing for guests, both the member and guest must attend the event together; unaccompanied guests are charged non-member rates.

Substitute Guest Exception: Members who have purchased a lunch series are urged to send a substitute guest whenever they are unable to attend, as series luncheons are non-refundable.

*When registering online in advance, guests may select the member pricing option, but must provide their host's name in the "comments" field of the transaction. [ current events ]

Members-Only ... Promotional opportunities at SCWCC networking events are exclusive benefits of membership; only members in good standing are permitted to market and promote their businesses and services during official introductions and presentations.

Guests may introduce themselves by name and company only, citing their host, employer or affiliate member organization briefly.

For example: Hello, my [name is .....], I am a ..... [profession], with ..... [employer / affiliate group] -- and / or -- guest of ..... [member].

Informal Exceptions: Once official remarks have concluded, all attendees are invited to conduct unrestricted business networking one-on-one, and to share information in open discussion.
